博士论文：

Qianwen, Qing, ‘Conflict and Scandal in the British Caribbean, 1680–1720’ (PhD thesis, University of Warwick, 2022)

该论文主要研究1680至1720年英属加勒比殖民地白人社会的内部矛盾和政治丑闻，并结合帝国史及大西洋史视角，借助案例分析的方法，探讨17世纪末18世纪初殖民地税收、贸易、派系政治与身份认同等问题，同时考察近代英国财政-军事国家及其政治思想对加勒比殖民地的影响。通过对上述因素的分析，论文指出在加勒比殖民地政治实践中，公权与私权边界的模糊导致了丑闻频发，而英帝国过于灵活，时而矛盾的殖民政策，以及英格兰及其殖民地政治发展轨道的分歧进一步造成了殖民地社会的不稳定性。
